Andrea
As a previous Steven’s Minister, Andrea understands that life can be very hard at times and how the love of Christ can sustain us. Having experienced trauma in her own life, she knows the hard work and patience it takes to heal. She also endured her own serious faith crisis and the beautiful restoration that only Christ can bring.
Andrea has been married to her husband Chad for 28 years and deeply regards the joys and struggles of marriage. She is the mother to two adult daughters, and while motherhood is an incredible blessing, she knows the challenges that it also brings. Betty
Our Lord began preparing Betty for ministry as a child where she was raised in Bennettsville SC by a father who was a minister and a mother who was a probate judge. Her education includes License Practical Nursing and college courses for paralegal. Eventually leaving nursing for Southern Bell Telephone, she also served as Administrator and Interim Director for a pregnancy resource center in addition to Administrator for an attorney. Retiring in 2010, her experience is more life-lived and on-the-job training, having walked with her husband through stage four cancer for 17 years.
Betty's primary joy in life is her family. She has 3 children, 3 married-in children and 7 grandchildren. Her passions are deep Bible study, being with Jesus and learning from Him, prayer, sitting with troubled, hurting souls and pointing them to Christ, watching Christ transform us into disciples, loving the family of God, especially at Watermark, and being a part of His Kingdom.

Katie
“Love is a transforming, life changing, radical, direction-altering action. It’s not an adjective but a verb,” Katie’s words to describe the love she receives from Jesus. The love He put in her heart has prepared her to be a shepherd for His people. Through her deep, unexplainable love for Jesus and others, she prays consistently and ceaselessly to see people the way Jesus does. Her life changed when she truly began living for Jesus, rather than simply knowing about Him. He gave her the gift of prayer and discernment to know when people need to feel His love and compassion. Often times, it changes her life just as much as she prays it changes theirs and is something she takes very seriously.
Katie is married to Terry, the most amazing man she knows, and The Lord called her to be a homeschooling Mama to her beautiful sons, Ford and Cole. She’s thankful God has given her this opportunity to love and pray for His people in a deep, tangible, and meaningful way that will bring them into closer relationship with Him.

Tom
Tom grew up in upstate New York and spent most of his life far from the Lord. In 2014, he moved his family to Mooresville for a fresh start. It wasn’t long before the Lord began working on them through their daughter. After several attempts by classmates, she finally accepted an invitation to church, where Tom saw the Lord transform her from an atheist into a conservative Christ follower. Within weeks, their entire family was attending church regularly and, a few months later, all were baptized together- their lives forever changed. That transformation forged Tom's desire to dig deeper into his faith and is a heart he wants to share with others. Walking along side of others as they go through life’s struggles and showing the love of Christ is his great honor and privilege.
Tom is happily married to his wife Mandy of 27 years. They have a beautiful daughter, Saige, an amazing son in law, Austin, and a wonderful grandson, Thomas, with a granddaughter on the way.
